Alanromans.com is a family run business based in Fife, Scotland. We established the website seven years ago with the aim of supplying quality seeds and seed potatoes at discount prices to gardeners and allotment holders. Our range of vegetable, herb and flower seeds is packed in plain, clearly labelled foils or sachets. We tend to choose items which are standard or we would want to grow ourselves in our two gardens (trial grounds!). Full descriptions and growing instructions are always available on the site. Our speciality is to offer as wide a selection of mainly Scottish grown seed potatoes as we can. This is based on Alan's interest and involvement over many years. We carry his popular Guide to Varieties as well as The Potato Book. We are usually first with new ideas involving marketing of potatoes - this season we continue with minitubers and Foil-sis.
